D. Neale "Buster" Hanley, II
With his family name on the sign, Buster makes sure every encounter he has with an individual or family is one he can be proud of. Being an integral part of the Pekin community – seeing people at the grocery store, church and festivals – helps create a great sense of accountability for Buster and a desire to be sure they are treated right. After completing his education at Illinois Wesleyan University and Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Buster returned home in 1992 as a trusted funeral director and embalmer. Buster is actively involved in the community. He’s a lifelong resident of Pekin and has been greatly involved in the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce. He presently serves on the City of Pekin Economic Development Advisory Committee, UnityPoint Health - Pekin Hospital Foundation Board, Tazewell County St. Jude Golf Classic, a member of the 40 Leaders Under 40 group and is a member of Summit Point Church in East Peoria. In addition to being an Illinois Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer, he is a Certified Crematory Operator, Certified Cemetery Manager and Certified Preplanning Consultant. Buster and his wife, Joely, enjoy golf, grilling out and traveling in their free time. They have two children, Tyler and Megan.
